Every consultant on Échelle is vetted through an interview, a portfolio review, and a short trial task. We only onboard students who prove capability — age is just a number.
You pay only after a target is met, or as a percentage of earnings. If results aren't delivered, you don't pay. That's the whole point of "no earning, no payment."

Yes. While most of our consultants work across marketing, research, sales, and ops, we have software, AI, and coding-capable consultants available on request.
Usually 5–15 hours a week per consultant, across school-friendly hours. We scope, staff, and report weekly.
Two models: a fixed retainer paid only after a milestone is met, or a fixed or variable percentage of revenue earned from our work — agreed after discussion. Zero prepayment across both.
Through the consultant onboarding form — tell us who you are, what you want to work on, and show anything you've made. We read every submission and respond within 72 hours. Anyone 14 or older can apply.
Not necessarily — if your portfolio already demonstrates capability, you can be matched directly. If you're starting out, the training program is the structured route: it builds the skills and portfolio that feed into live client matching.
The Échelle team hand-pairs consultants and clients based on fit — your portfolio, skills, and ambition against the project's actual needs. No random assignment.
Compensation depends on the engagement and is agreed clearly before work begins — it's discussed during onboarding and matching, so there are no surprises on either side.
