1. Agreeing to these terms
By using echelleventures.com you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you use it on behalf of a company, you're confirming you're allowed to accept these terms for that company.
2. Project work
The information on this site describes how we usually work. It isn't an offer or a contract. A project with Échelle starts only once we've both agreed its scope, deliverables, timeline and fees in writing, whether that's a fixed retainer paid on a milestone or a revenue share. That written agreement governs the project, and it takes priority over anything on this site if the two conflict.
Sending a brief through the site doesn't commit you to anything, and it doesn't commit us to taking the project on.
3. Applying as a consultant
- You must be at least 14 years old to apply.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree before you do any client work, and we may contact them.
- Everything in your application must be true and your own work. We may withdraw an offer if it isn't.
- Applying doesn't guarantee a place, a project or any payment. Paid work is agreed separately, in writing.
4. Using the site
Please don't:
- try to access data or systems you haven't been given access to;
- send spam, malware, or false or misleading information through our forms;
- scrape, overload or disrupt the site, or get around its security;
- pretend to be someone else, or use the site for anything unlawful.
If you find a security issue, email team@echelleventures.com before disclosing it anywhere else. We appreciate responsible reports. See our Security page for how to report.
5. Our content and client names
The text, design and graphics on this site belong to Échelle Ventures, or are used with permission. You can share links to it and quote short passages with credit. Please don't copy the site or reuse its design.
Client names and logos belong to their owners. We show them to describe work we're doing with those companies, not to suggest that they endorse anything beyond that. Some photos are stock images, used under their licences.
6. No guarantees
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available. However, it's provided "as is": we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or completely up to date. Nothing on the site is legal, financial or investment advice. Any examples or figures describe past or current work and don't promise future results.
7. Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, Échelle Ventures isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Liability for project work is set out in the written agreement for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Links to other sites
We link to services like Google Forms, Instagram and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their content.
9. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a court finds any part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies.
